How to Play

Use ◀ ▶ (or A/D) to turn your view a full 360° around you, and ▲ ▼ (or W / the down arrow) to walk forward/back in the direction you're facing. Drag the view to look up/down.

The city is ringed by grand boulevards — each ring has just one ornate gate leading to the next, so you'll need to walk the ring to find it.

A wizard stands watch at every gate. Walk up to him and he'll pop up a riddle — key in the answer on the number pad. Get it right and he steps aside; get it wrong (or don't answer) and the gate stays shut.

Out on the outermost ring, keep an eye out for a sword stuck in a stone. Walk up to it to pull it free — after that, press S to slash or F to thrust (or tap the ⚔️ / 🗡️ buttons on mobile). Look for the wooden practice pells scattered around that same outer ring — get in close and in front of one to land a hit.

Once you're past the first gate, the second ring in is guarded by 15 knights with sword and shield. Get too close and they'll swing at you — get hit and you'll lose one of your 3 hearts, shown down by the controls. Land 3 hits of your own to take a knight down. Lose all 3 hearts and you're sent back to the very beginning, so don't be reckless!

Also out on that same outer ring: 4 pieces of armor are hiding against the city walls — a helmet, breastplate, armor pants, and armor shoes. Walk up to one and answer a quick, easy question to claim it (anything you type is fine!). Your gear box down by the controls fills in as you find each piece. Put on the helmet and you'll start seeing the world through its visor.

The wizard at the very first gate won't let you through until you've collected the whole set of armor — so gear up before you go looking for it!

Somewhere in the city, a manhole leads down into the sewers... look out for a familiar face down there. 🐢
